Celtic Angelfish Gourd Ornament
This Celtic Angelfish is drawn on an egg gourd using a burning, or pyrography pen. The fish has spirals and knotwork on its body and tail. Colors added using inks. All of my work is one of a kind and my own design.
Egg gourds are about the size of an extra large chicken egg, but much less fragile. Hand in photo gives you a better idea of the size.
Some ornaments will rattle when you shake them, that is the loose seeds inside you are hearing.
Be sure to see the photo of an egg gourd growing in the garden before it is dried for artistic use.
Care:
Please display away from direct sunlight, as this will cause the artwork to fade. A UV protection coating is applied, but it has it limitations. Treat this little ornament as a miniature piece of original art, because that is what it is!
Comes with a handmade hook ready for hanging, and packaged in a gift box.
