Celtic cross pyrography (wood burning) on a gourd, with turquoise resin inlay and pine needle coiled rim.
Check out some photos of the inlay process. First the area is carved, then the inlay added to the recessed areas. Once dried, the inlay is sanded down to be flush with the rest of the surface.

Be sure to see the photo of a gourd growing in the garden before it is dried for artistic use.
Please display away from direct sunlight. UV protectant sealer is applied to help prevent this, but it should be treated like any piece of valuable art.
