Wolves Of Penn’s Woods
Once upon a time wolves were plentiful in Pennsylvania....
This gourd features a complete composition of wolves and landscape. This was inspired by the idea of the wolves that once roamed in Pennsylvania long ago. Most of the wolves depicted are a combination of individuals residing at a local wolf sanctuary. These are such beautiful creatures, and I wanted to show them resting, watching, and raising their pups.
Scene completed by hand with a burning pen called pyrography, inks added for borders. Leather braided rim.
Measures 6" x 8"
This art is made from a real, natural gourd. Be sure to see the photo of a gourd growing in the garden before it is dried for artistic use. Once dried it will last as long as a piece of wood.
This gourd is not meant to hold water or food. It is meant to look at and enjoy like any other piece of artwork.
Please display away from direct sunlight. UV protectant sealer is applied to help prevent this, but it should be treated like any piece of valuable art.
