I saw your Hummingbird Moth in the Woodcarving Illustrated Magazine and was so thankful for your sharing! We have these wonderful moths in our yard in the evenings. I have been doing gourds for four years now..really just getting ''into'' this medium! My wood burning is getting better...I will try this moth on one of my smaller gourds. I have to purchase them as the deer, raccoons, rabbits, and bears eat almost everything in sight! I tried one gourd plant last year, and a chipmunk came up to the pot and bit off the stem...right in front of me!!!! So, my choices of what to create and on what gourd is exhausting at times! I love your work...!
